Expo-FIHOQ 2016: a new location, but still as much fun to get together
Numerous visitors came to roam the alleyways at the Centre Cogeco in Drummondville for the most recent edition of the Expo-FIHOQ that took place on November 16, 17 and 18.
Besides the heavy attendance, the number of visitors from traditional ornamental horticulture sectors was on the increase as well. More growers, garden centres and landscapers came to meet the exhibitors and learn more about their new and flagship products, all while discussing with them in person.
A path through a flower-decked town
Happy and smiling visitors followed the route that had been set out for them on two floors, with more than 60,000 square feet of exhibition surface area in total. On the second floor, they wandered through Main Street, a fun downtown area that was packed with flowers. They visited the highly popular exhibitors’ boutiques before taking the grand staircase leading to the main exposition hall where more than 225 exhibitors with more than 415 stands were waiting to greet them.
Ornamental horticulture and green space management professionals as well as stakeholders from the municipal world were able to visit with plant, inert materials and equipment suppliers as well as service providers.
The exhibitors have all gone back to their drawing boards and are busy preparing colourful stands for the next edition of Expo-FIHOQ from November 15 to 17, 2017 in Drummondville. We’ll see you there!
